NO MEMBERSHIP DUES??

2008 Stampe Tour

No membership dues this year.  All outings are a straight $40 entry fee for prizes.  Going with the "Keep It Simple Stupid" mentality this year.

This is for staff expenses, a varierty of prizes and trophies, hole-in-one contest (standing at $1,500), and new web site costs.  It's a steal compared to the AAGT circuit that will cost you at least $145 just for the "privilege" to participate. There's no better deal in Ohio for Amateur golfing events based on both individual and group formats.  But what really makes our tour stand above all others is we pay out cash along with other prizes.

*Special Note - Rookie Status = A member of the Captains Club will speak directly with new players if at all possible.  This is to get a feel for what they normally shoot.  If we can't reach them, we'll ask others who may have played golf lately with them for input.  If all else fails, we have a built-in fail safe method to deal with this called "Battlefield Promotions."  This means if the Captains Club places a golfer in a flight and they blow the field away the player will automatically be bumped up in flights to better match them with others skill levels.  Not an exact science, but it prevents newcomers from coming in for one outing, taking lots of money and never returning.  This also protects those golfers who have been on the tour long enough to have established handicaps.  Membership has its privileges.  If someone has a career day golfing regardless of their flight chances are VERY good they'll win money and come back for more!!
